FEDERAL HEALTHCARE

Huelat Parimucha has had the opportunity to be involved in federally funded design and research engagements for some of America’s most prestigious healthcare institutions including the National Institutes of Health and the ER One Institute.

Project ER One is the initiative set to develop the design concepts, features, and specifications for an all-risks ready emergency care facility. This future facility will be optimized in order to provide emergency medical care during acts of terrorism and epidemics and built to function fully as a hospital emergency department during normal daily operations. As a Healing Environment Consultant, our task was to plan for the worse case scenario, while implementing designs to reduce stress in an Emergency Environment. ER One is to be a Prototype, which will serve as a model and demonstration facility for other emergency centers in other major cities across the nation that are vulnerable to mass casualty events.

Additionally, the principals of Huelat Parimucha Ltd have participated in the Integrative Health Care Policy, a WIN (Wellness Initiative for the Nation) directive with the Samueli Institute, representing healthcare architecture and interior design of the built environment. This initiative is set to proactively look for ways to prevent disease and illness, promote health and productivity, and create well-being and prosperity for the people of America.
