MILITARY MEDICINE

Huelat Parimucha’s approach to Military Healthcare Facilities is geared toward providing a non-institutional healing environment which respects the military culture and honors the wounded warrior.

With the expansion of military operations and the increase in war casualties, the need for healing environments has become a necessity as these injured veterans return from combat.

Healing environments within military facilities can have transformative powers, improving physical and mental health and supporting overall well-being. Huelat Parimucha’s facilities are designed to empower the patient through clear way finding, family integration, and designs that infuse aspects of nature that nurture the whole person.

Huelat Parimucha has provided a variety of design services both domestically and abroad, including a planning and design assignment for the Navy’s Flight Line Clinic in Sigonella, Italy and a Furniture Master Plan for Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.
