Joseph P. Parimucha, AIA, AAH, ACHA

Architectural Principal

Joe Parimucha, has completed over 300 healthcare facility assignments, disposition of over 25,000 beds plus support facilities, 40 years of hands-on professional experience in healthcare facility programming, planning, design, construction and evaluation.

For ten years, he directed construction programs for 33 NATO installations in Europe and the Middle East, the Far East, and the United States representing the Surgeon General for the United States Air Force.

Today, he is an interactive collaborator with other programmers, planners, designers, architects, engineers, builders, and countries from private individuals to international academic institutions.

In addition to his personal leadership position on client assignments, Mr. Parimucha is a Founding Member of the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA), an active member of the American Institute of Architects/AAH and ASHE/NCHES.

Past affiliations include ACCH, IHF and SCCM.

Publications and public speaking includes presentations on progressive planning, design, and construction issues to a variety of private, academic, and governmental audiences. His current focus is community healthcare facility environmental design with a programming and planning emphasis on function, technology, operations and patient outcomes.
