VA San Juan, Puerto Rico

Huelat Parimucha Ltd as a consultant with URS, provided programming, planning and schematic design for the VA facility in Puerto Rico. The study included a new Outpatient Care Building with major renovation to the inpatient building.

The VA Puerto Rico Caribbean Healthcare System provides services to a population of 150,000 veterans in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In FY 2006, the VA Caribbean Healthcare System registered 67,932 unique patients with 9,815 inpatient treated and provided 835,366 outpatient visits at all clinic areas in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
